  • Device Information: We may collect information about your device, including device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers.

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the App.
  • Authenticate your access to Linode services via API.
  • Improve and personalize your experience.
  • Analyze usage trends to enhance App functionality.
  • Communicate with you, including responding to inquiries and sending updates.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share your information:

  • With Linode, to authenticate API requests and provide App functionality.
  • To comply with legal obligations or protect our rights.

4. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

NexNode offers optional in-app purchases and subscriptions (e.g., NexNode Premium) through the Google Play Store. When you make a purchase or subscribe:

  • Payment Information: Google Play collects and processes payment information, such as your name, billing address, and payment method details (e.g., credit card information). NexNode does not store or have direct access to this payment information.
  • Subscription Details: Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Google Play account settings. No refunds are provided for active subscription periods.
  • Usage: We may receive limited, anonymized data from Google Play (e.g., subscription status, purchase token) to provide you with premium features and verify your access.
  • Compliance: Payment data collection and processing by Google Play are governed by Google’s Privacy Policy (available at https://policies.google.com/privacy). We ensure compliance with applicable privacy laws, including GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), regarding any personal information we receive.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

6. Your Choices

You have the following options regarding your information:

  • Account Information: You may update or delete your account information within the App.
  • Promotional emails: We do not send promotional emails and have no intention to do so.
  • Device Permissions: You can manage App permissions through your device settings.

7. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with Linode’s API. Linode’s privacy practices are governed by their own Privacy Policy, available at https://www.linode.com/legal-privacy/.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date.
